That big guy

When I show up at a wedding, I always get asked immediately, who is that big guy? Poor Drew, he stands out like, well, like a 6 foot 6 inch, 300 pound guy. When he was a college football player, his height was normal. Now when walks next to me at a shoot, he towers above everyone. But he is my husband, the love of my life. And he has always supported me in everything, especially wedding photography. I've dragged him along to weddings since my very first one in 2007. He is my second shooter and his height helps get some really great shots that I would never see! Thanks handsome husband Drew (yes, that is his full name) for being my other half.

Snow!!

Texas rarely sees snow. Usually it doesn't stick or, if it does, it melts very quickly. DFW woke up Friday to a gorgeous six inches of snow! I couldn't NOT take pictures of the beautiful weather, so I grabbed my camera, bundled up, and took a few shots that I am sharing below. Enjoy :)

The Persell Family

My long 6 week holiday vacation is over! It's back to work for me! I got to begin the new year by taking photographs of a very sweet and happy, extended family! Here are a few pictures from their shoot!

Josey + David

I had fun shooting this Halloween wedding! Josey and David have been together for such a long time, and it is easy to see why. They are sweet and goofy together, I loved shooting their wedding! Congratulations--I know you two will grow old together! :)
